aloha!
whoa i haven't blog for quite a while, huh? heh. so last week we had our sabbticals! woohoo, no sch for the entire week, juz fun, fun and more fun! okay maybe for some unfortunate ppl it ain't that enjoyable afterall, but hey, what can be better than skipping a week's worth of school?! yups (:
i have loads to update so bear with me. lalala =D
Monday: Yoga
Met Jac at toa payoh interchange to have breakfast b4 gng to sch to board e bus to e yoga place. Boy do i have a humongous appetite. I can actually stomach 2 mini egg tarts and a floss bun after having some baos for breakfast. heh. Yeap, afterwhich we went to sch and took the bus. Yada yada. Ohoh, there were more guys than girls in Yoga run 1! Gosh, i thought guys would never want to join yoga, for whatever reasons. Guess they want to improve their flexibility or sth? lol.
Anyway, the place is called Whatever31 at Keong Saik Road, supposedly in the Red Light District. lol. The introduction part is darn boring and sleep-inducing. After that, we did e diff basic asanas, which were quite interesting, really. (: oh we love e relaxation time the most! It's like undergoing an hypnosis session with the instructor (Kong), following the command of his voice and focus on nothing but relaxing the diff muscles of our bodies. Oh yes Jac! i agree that the guys from ur class are very funny. lol. Some of them q horny, but no harm done lahh.
After the sabbs, jac and i decided to go novena square to eat sth, but we're both q broke so we just ate fries. hehs. Yoga makes me grow hungry vv easily!! Every break i would go buy sth at e nearby 7-11 store to eat. bleah.
Tuesday: Yoga
Hmmmm. Nothing much, just the same as the first day. We learnt sun salutation with the proper breathing and all! I love this asana the most (: yay. And we learnt this asana which we can do to keep us awake during midnight mugging! The best thing is, i forgot how to do it alrd. >.< wth. haha. Ate like a pig again! #%$&%^*(*@!@!#^$%&Gdf. I CANNOT CONTROL MY EATING HABITS. nvm. Did a few more of the sun saluation, breathing techniques, and contortioning! Okay, we didn't exactly become contortionists, we just tried to put our legs on top of each other and attempt to use our crossed arms to touch them. lol. this sounds q weird. heh. you probably won't get what i mean unless you see e actual position. it's impossible lahh, only Kong can do it. At the end, we took pics with my camera!! One of the pic damn hilarious lah, cuz Peter and Billy pinched their noses while the rest of the guys raised their arms and clasped their palms above their heads. heh.
Wed:
Crappy day, we went to sch for some talks which nobody was even paying attention to. except for the first one, where the speaker is obviously being sarcastic. ooh but i love his sense of humour! damn evil. hahax. He was saying how girls are SHALLOW cuz we go for guys with great personalities and not looks. note the irony. hahax. Oh, and he kept suaning the RI boys! Maybe an ex-RI boy snatched his girlfriend or sth. heh. Borinnnnnng day. After the philo talk, Mann Ying and I went to play tennis at the court! Using yuming's tennis rackets (: I hit like 2 balls out of the court onto the road, and one of them is nowhere to be found. haha. then clever twin came up with an idea to switch positions, so that the ball that i might hit out will not land onto the road. hahax. I'm a BIG noob lahh, cannot play tennis for nuts. I can only serve :( nvm we shall play more!!
Thursday: Korean
Fast forward to the 2nd half of the sabb! heh. we watched Da Chang Jin, aka Dae Jang Geum(issit?!) and i love kim sam soon! I like the second one more! The male lead is quite good-looking. haha. The show is v lighthearted, v funny and can be quite romantic. hahax. But it's rly q hard to believe that such things can happen. Then, after watching e korean dramas, we had the chance to try on the Hanbok costumes! They are the traditional Korean costumes that you see in Da Chang Jin. A little troublesome to wear, but we just kept trying e diff costumeS! Took loads of pics (: Yay! I like the pink and blue one the most!
Friday: Korean
Highlight of the day was obviously the lunch at YESS centre near Haw Par Villa. Who said it was just a sample of disheS?! I was filled to the brim lahh. I, the pig who was filled to the brim! We had bbq meat, manymanymanymany little dishes of food such as pickled cucumber, kimchi, luncheon meat, beansprouts, spinach, cold tofu, grilled mushrooooooooooms, and rice in stonebowls! Oh, we amused ourselves with tablet-lookalike paper towels which GREW in size when we poured water over it. Of course, the towel doesn't grow; it just absorb the water and enlarged. heh. Our teacher's son is sososo shuai! He's mixed blood, cuz our teacher is married to an Englishman. No wonder he was spotted by agencies and appeared on a newspaper ad. Gosh, when he grows up he will melt many young girls' hearts. And break some of theirs too. hahax.
Pauline and I then took 176 to bukit panjang. On the way we talked about lots of stuff. We discovered secreats and discussed about, well, things. haha. The chit-chat session made me realise alot. About myself, and people in general. Then we sat around macs at BKP to continue our talk. heh. I love talking to Pauline! She's really encouraging and optimistic (: We actually share the same woes. heh. May we find our happiness soon =D
I'm going ice-skating tmr with wei li, zj and cc! WOOHOO! so looking forward to it! it's gonna be my first ice-skating experience, i hope i won't end up with mulitple orcehs or even sprains. *prays.
