Hello!

Have not been updating for a while. Nothing much to update anyway. I'm not the kind who chronicles her life cuz half the time i don't remember what happens after a few days. LOL. Maybe if you asked me what I had for dinner I'd have forgotten. Not today though. I remember what I ate yesterday.

Something I have yet to forget is that I bought a new phone yesterday!!! Finally a phone that has viable functions. It's the cool and stylish Sony Ericsson K770i!! At least that's what the brochure said. HAHAHA. I could have bought the violet one if it came with better-matching buttons and also if they had stock. Brown is the best bet.

Life is getting more and more routine for my liking. No challenges at all. Throw some tasks on my path!! Lol. Urgh getting very bored so I shall not litter my entry with nonsensical lines.

Next thursday is a very special day HAHAHA. My family is going out to celebrate for me!! I'm gonna make sure it happens. heh. My mum actually asked me if i wanna invite my friends over. Might consider it. Hmmmm.

Ever tried making yourself feel upset by tuning in to melancholic songs before you go to sleep? That's what I did yesterday night. Maybe I had too much of a good time this week heh. While listening to those tunes, I realised I am a much happier person now compared to last year. The ghost of self-doubt has mostly vanished. I have relinquished negativity and welcomed optimism. Think the effect of Excuse me, your life is now is becoming more and more evident.

"You are not your current circumstance, but the creator of it." Instead of dwelling on the downside of things, we can simply choose to change the experience. Shifting your attention from being the circumstance to being the person experiencing a circumstance will enable you to generate positive feelings and attract more of what you want! Maybe this will sound preposterous and absurd to you. Just try getting yourself out of your rut and focus creating something u want! Hmmm something worthwhile to ponder on.

Anyway, as a creator (haha), I quitted my job at TTSH and will start work as a receptionist at hui qi's law firm tmr! I think I'm quite a job hopper ): But then, my reason for quitting the TTSH job is quite valid. The jobscope my agent described to me does not tally with what we did at TTSH! So out of 9 temps hired, 7 eventually quit. It's amazing. On the very first day, one person reported sick and went home early. Second day, 2 or 3 persons did not come cuz they were ill. On the third day, about 6 of us (including me) resigned. WITW! I felt quite bad for abandoning geraldine when she needed help, but I lost my voice on the 2nd day itself and could not help her out on friday. sigh. I interviewed 80+ ppl on the 2nd day and lost my voice subsequently. Too hiong alr. haha. Other ppl only interviewed 40-50+ ppl lor. haha.

Hui Qi, don't think you'll read this, but good luck working at wl's company!! Wish you didn't have to leave though. Then we can work together hahaha.

Hello!

So the CNY break is over, and everybody is back to work except ME. Zuojin, Steff and Weiwen are returning to the schools to teach. Other squadmates are trudging back to their offices. I'm staying at home; frictionally unemployed. Not gloating or whatsoever. I really need to find a full-time temporary job soon!!! Like, this week or the next. I'll spam and send resumes to all short-listed employers and hope they'll give me a reply asap.

Meanwhile, I'll start on Excuse Me, Your Life is Now by Doreen Banaszak. I promised myself to brave through all 194 pages (all words, no pics!) and consciously apply the concepts and ideas to my life as much as possible. No more excuses for abandoning the book halfway. This is one wordy non-fiction book I'm going to conquer! haha. By the way I really hate non-fiction books being void of illustrations. Even a stupid cartoon sketch would be good. And I cannot stand cookbooks which have NO PICTURES. how do you expect readers to know how the food should look like?! Goodness.

Gotta catch up on my sleep cuz i had blardy insomnia ytd from 12mn till 5a.m. DO NOT EVER TAKE CLARINASE BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP. you will suffer the fate of countless tosses and turns in bed, two complimentary eye circles and mental agility which you will NOT be thankful for.
