Le Bonheur Est à Ceux Qui Savent Rire

My dreams are getting more and more realistic. I’m afraid one day I might not be able to differentiate between reality and dreams. Sometimes I would suddenly recall certain details of a person, for instance the comments that he/she makes, or the actions that he/she do. It takes me a while to figure out whether it took place in my dreams or in real life. Scary, isn’t it? It’s not exactly affecting me now, so I’m not that concerned yet. I have always wondered why we have dreams. And why do our dreams (well, at least mine) show such a striking resemblance to our conscious life? I have many more similar questions that are swimming in my brain. I think that’s why I look pensive/contemplative half the time. I look almost…absent. Haha. But I’m not always thinking because sometimes I’m really just too drowsy and unbothered to look alert. i often look sleepy and moody in the mornings. haha.
These days I learnt that there is no point in driving yourself up the wall with insignificant happenings around you. Paranoia never gets you anywhere. It would probably age you, that’s all.
hmmm i realised that this blog post doesn't make much sense. oh well doesn't matter. gonna sleep!

time traveler's wife:
Clare smiles. "How could you lose me? I'm not going anywhere."
"I worry that you will get tired of putting up with my undependableness and you will leave me."
Clare puts her sketchbook aside. I sit up. "I won't ever leave you," she says. "Even though you're always leaving me."
"But I never want to leave you."

HELLO! today is one of my chong-home-and-nap-then-mug days :D
i have this urge to change my blogskin because i'm getting increasingly tired of it. hmmm. point is i can't find one which i really like. and i don't have the time to make one myself. so it's likely to stay for as long as possible.
well i'm pretty happy with my BT2 grades. considering the amount of effort i put in for BT2 is at least twice that for BT1, i would be devastated if i have gotten the same grades as BT1. Then again, it was said that effort does not necessarily translate into results.
can't say the same for GP though. i think there must be a reason why i stapled my question paper on top of my answer booklet after GP exam. i must have known that my GP grade was going to be unsightly. unsightly indeed. couldn't help but put part of the blame on the invigilator. ooops (: i was so distracted by him/her i wasn't even paying attention to the paper for several minutes. and to top it off, i had some kind of mental block. but the bottomline is that my language skills suck. so i better salvage it before it goes down the drain and never comes back :/
today i confirmed my allergy to panadol/paracetamol. OF ALL DRUGS. LOL. i was half-expecting it anyway, so it didn't come off as a huge surprise. i ate one before i took a nap, and when i woke up i could feel the right side of my face, specifically the undereye area, swelling. then i looked into the mirror and concluded that actually it looks better with the swelling. LOL. don't ask me why, i don't quite know either. as i'm typing i'm sneezing away. i hate flussssssssssssssss. ROAR. immune system please be strong and fight the viral infection!
reading time traveler's wife is a pleasure. but all the time travelling trips that henry makes are confusing to the mind. i gave up figuring why there are two of him in certain time spaces and just took it as it is. hopefully i can finish it before it's due.
sleepy, as always. tata!

HELLO!
Back from town with my table partners :D we just discovered sth really cool at shaw house! It’s the xbox player just next to lido theatre. for the first time in my life I actually played the xbox game! I sound really suaku, I know. Lol.
We were initially at cathay orchard wanting to watch the Japanese anime film, but it was not showing there so we walked to lido. Sadly it was not available at lido as well )): then we sat down for a while and talked about stuff. And then we discovered the coolio xbox player and decided to give it a try. man it felt like we were little kids once again :D usually I would not be interested to play because I’m lousy with the controller. It takes pretty long for me to figure out the maneuvering of the controller. Well but we felt that we just had to try it! And so we did :D
We played the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game and it proved to be super addictive! Our (Harry, Hermione and Ron) first task was to go to the Defence of Dark Arts classroom. we didn’t know that there was the map function (!!!) so we took about 10-20minutes to reach there =P One task leads to the next, and we found ourselves learning the spells at the courtyard! We had fun performing them on innocent people niakhiakhiak. We also got into the secret passage behind the portrait of the old man on the second floor of the stairways. Our final task was to retrieve a book atop a bookcase in the library. We had the hardest time there ): We were supposed to perform the levitation spell, “Wingardium Leviosa” on the stupid table so that we can climb onto it and take the book, but everytime we climbed onto it, the book just eludes us and flies onto the next bookcase!! Eventually we got kind of lazy and gave up. Ahhh but I really want to play it again! Hopefully the next time I go it would still be there.
It’s been a long time since I had so much fun :D hmmm soon I won’t have the luxury to spend my afternoons lazing around like today. Sadly )):
On another note, I’m really relieved that I passed chemistry with satisfactory grade! I was scared stiff a few days ago cuz ms wong said I probably failed my free response. Luckily I didn’t. whew.
Okay I’m off to bathe now. Tata.

okay i haven't got any idea what's wrong with the photos. gahhh. if it's still screwed then i guess i gotta post again.
ANYWAYS!
here's a light-hearted song:
"Our Song"-Taylor Swift
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart
I look around, turn the radio down
He says baby is something wrong?
I say nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song
And he says...
[Chorus:]
Our song is the slamming screen door,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again
I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day
Had gone all wrong and been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said...
[Repeat Chorus]
I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song...
Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneaking out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date "man, I didn't kiss him, and I should have"
And when I got home, before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I... wrote down our song
