HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!
I haven't been blogging for a week! goshhhh. and my tagboard is growing cobwebs...haha. i ponned sch today! lol. felt a lil sick after jts yesterday and decided to stay at home today instead. i honestly think i would accomplish more at home rather than listening to lects which i can't comprehend in sch. wellwell. hmmm, alright, let me recount the happenings that occurred last week:
CNY: i just stayed at home and lazed around like a pig. basically didn't venture anywhere else except on chuer, when i went shopping with mum and bro. it was more of an expedition to discover which shops were open on chuer. haha. well, zara was! yay. and i ate xiaolongbaossssss.
SEDUCING MR. PERFECT: watched it on friday with vanessa and cheryl. it's kind of plotless, but who cares? we were there to drool over daniel henney =P and i think the female lead is very beautiful! she would have looked much better with lustrous locks though. somehow the movie confuses me. so in the end, is love a game of power and manipulation? is it the girl's fault that guys ditch her all the time, just because she's "too nice"? well i think it sounds like a lousy break-up line coming from jerks. urgh.
Saturday:had LEAPS in the morning and it was the first one i really paid attention to. okay, maybe the second because i thought that the grooming one last year was really interesting too. so anyway, the people from BrightSparks came over to talk to us about our career direction and interview skills. i have been thinking alot about my future these few days, and when my dad asked me a few days ago which course i want to do in university, i couldn't give him a definite answer. i rank personal interest higher than financial aspects in terms of career choices, but apparently my parents hold opposite views. well, i very much want to earn more than just a living. of course, i have a baseline for the salary. i just cannot imagine myself working without any passion for the job. so what if i earn a five-digit sum per month. all i can say is people have different work values. worse come to worse, i'll just marry someone rich and be a tai-tai. RIGHTTTT. haha.
afterwhich, i joined my team mates and we headed to coach's house! his house has many reflective surfaces which is pretty cool for zi-lian people like us. there's a big mirror right beside the dining table, reflective glass-like surface at the sink area, ceiling-to-floor mirrors in the room and many more. the bathroom in coach's room has TRANSPARENT doors. who would dare to use it!!! zomg. then we played daidi, candoo! and csi: las vegas boardgame. he has many interesting and exotic-looking board games! i think we all enjoyed candoo! the most. it involves drawing and acting, something like pictionary and taboo. kaikai and meimei are good at guessing! haha. somehow i always get funny actions to act out, and ridiculously difficult animals to draw. how is one supposed to draw a dragon?! and act out pin a tail on the donkey?! we all had a good laugh :D some of us went to play CSI: las vegas board game with the guys. it was a pity that i had to leave early and couldn't finish the game ): i want to get my hands on the CSI one! i hope to own it someday. it's so super fun and challenging.
i left early to attend pri sch gathering at billy bombers. a day filled with activities. haha. jason, kenneth, samuel, jian ning, cherlyn, weixin, dorothy and i were the only ones from our class. rather sad. i think some of them couldn't make it
and some probably didn't want to make it. wow i'm amazed at the number of ex-es weixin and cherlyn have. while people like sam, kenneth and i have none to speak of. HOW SAD IS THAT. and i realised how terribly guai i actually am in comparison to them. oh goody-two-shoes me. btw, billy bombers food sucks. i didn't believe it when my bro told me just a week ago, but having tried the roast chicken and chips, it really puts me off. the chips are so soggy and tasteless! URGHHHH. the roast chicken is only mediocre. the only thing decent is probably the milkshake.
ended up at Mind's Cafe near Paradiz and it's one cool place. i definitely want to go there again! it's the perfect place for gatherings and probably those old-time ones because the games can warm everyone up. we played a much more exciting version of heart attack and also SAY WHAT. wish we had tried more games tho. dorothy and i went home while the rest were still there playing. i think my pri-sch friends are a damn crazy and funky bunch of people. hope to see them around more often. heh.
JTS: jts was held yesterday at oxford hotel. was feeling a little ill on the way there, but wasn't feeling as moody as i would be when i fall sick. outings such as jts is an eye-opener to the type of outfits our classmates and juniors would wear. everlyn was dressed like the magician assistant! super cute (: we all wanted to try her white covered heels. and her hairdo made her look like misa in deathnote 2. but she emphasises that she's not as evil as misa. haha. i think all the girls looked good (: alright, and the guys too. yuming had especially dressed up for the occasion, arriving in a striped button-down shirt and tie. good sense of dressing. and foongming looked totally photoshoot-worthy with her chic dress and heels! so gorgeous. she should let her hair down more often and wear contacts. when she appeared with edmund and lih hern, they seemed like family! lih hern being their child. lol. the food was so-so la. i didn't have much of an appetite so i didn't have a second helping. sang quite a bit after dinner. the karaoke was definitely the plus point. haha. having to walk all the way there from bugis mrt station was a killer, especially for those wearing heels. but i think we kind of ignored those who didn't sing ): ohwell. i hope everybody enjoyed it...hmmm.
i can't wait for next tues to come!!! *hinthint.
