another entry. haha.
today was the super impromptu ocip x'mas lunch! ooops it was so out-of-the-blue because a few of us were chatting online yesterday night (yes, on x'mas eve, i know) and lamenting how sad it would be to stay at home for x'mas. AND SO, we decided to meet up for buffet lunch! we did not decide the details until today morning. sorry it was THAT impromptu. we'll have another outing which would be WELL-PLANNED ((:
in the end, we ate at swensons instead. thanks to you-know-who. haha. nah, actually it's okay la. it doesn't really matter where we eat. we had some brisk walking exercise before we FINALLY gave in to swensons, so i guess it prepared us for some heavy lunch. lol. oh and we saw qianlei and gwen! they went to kbox. sad that they couldn't join us )):
poor jonny didn't have alot of cash, so he had no choice but to order cheesy egg=kid's meal=small portions=getting niao-ed by all of us. oh well. and e waitresses had to emphasize KID'S MEAL. haha. oops. nvm lah, e alphabet thing looks pretty appealing. yuntian and i shared crawfish pasta and chicken baked rice! wheee~~ super yummmmmmmmy. e cheese zomg is heavenly.
then, all of us shared Earthquake, which ultimately became Flood when we passed it to those sitting at the other end. oh, and mingren joined us! just in time for icecream.
guess where is our next destination??? THE ARCADE OF COURSE. junquan and yuntian left subsequently, leaving e guys, xinwei and i. jiahao and i went to walk around, so did maodun and xinwei. i've never really explore marina square before. today i suddenly realised it's actually v big! im ulu. haha. it's a great shopping place. oh ya, and jiahao wore contact lenses today! yay should wear more often then we'll get used to it. haha.
yuntian, jiahao and i took pictures with the very pretty x'mas decorations! will upload e pictures soon cuz something's wrong w blogger again. bleah.
hmmm. oh we went back and they were playing pool! hahahaha. jonny and lg are e "coaches" cuz they're v pro! then, jm, kaiern, mr and mao played. i forgot who teamed up with who.haha. well, from an observer's point of view, the verdict is that pool pros are playing at the table beside us. hahaha. i think they had completed 3games while we only finished 1. or maybe even MORE. haha.
yup. then jiahao and i joined jonny and lg for the next round! we are both noobsss. haha. he claimed that he is more noob than me. so you see, noobs cannot pair up tog because we will get thrashed by pool kings aka jonny and lg. lol. so eventually, jiahao and jonny were 1 team, while lg and i were another.
and we won! yay. lg too pro liao. haha. oh ya, there was this triangular relationship between e red-striped, orange and black ball. we definitely cannot risk getting e black ball into the pocket, so we avoided them at all cost. but, when we were left with only e red-striped one, we had no choice!! haha. wah i was so afraid that i would hit e black one in too. luckily i didn't! and so we won e game.
after that, we left the arcade, with kaiern and jonny disappearing within seconds. i went home for dinner and the rest continued to shop ard.
and so concludes our impromptu but still q fun x'mas lunch.
