Badminton + Squash= Painful arms!
Heh. I know it's quite lag but our class won the other class (some ares class?) in badminton comp! It was rather amazing because i thought i couldn't play badminton for nuts! I haven't played badminton since a few years ago, and to start with, my badminton skills is badddd. ahaha. But thanks to pauline and alicia who practised with me, i made vast improvement! So heartwarming to know that i can play a racket sport. lol. Yeap, let's jiayou for the next round on Monday! Hope Gary and Pauline can play though. WE NEED THEIR HELP TO PROCEED TO THE NEXT ROUND! oh and if i screw up the rules again, the umpire might not be as lenient. I better go and try to understand the service rules. heh. so paiseh, alicia and i just couldn't get the service rules right. Sorry to the umpire who looks quite exasperated, trying to explain the first and second service thingy. ahaha.
oh no, i just read the service rules online and it looked so cheeeeem! ahhh. okay i'm very dumb. nvm, ask denny the indonesia pro for help. haha.
And some of us played squash on friday! Supposed to have vb trng but after ming and shu (mingshu?! haha. noooo) left, zhangwei and i went to run! Need to train our stamina. heh. But our efforts went to waste cuz after that we went to 7 eleven to pig out! Zhangwei, kailin and I. Major pigging-out session! I think we almost blew off the entire of zhi's $10. haha. Then, kailin and zhang decided to run another 2 rounds while i went to play squash! Squash is funnnn! Yet another racket sport that i realised i can play. Though quite badly. But what matters is that we had fun! Yayyy. Now zhangwei and i can play properly le! Unlike our previous attempt, when we couldn't even hit the ball at the wall. haha.
YESTERDAY! Grooming was informative and interesting! I didn't know that i have a ROUND face. :( But the instructor said that it's sorta of a short oval cuz my face quite SMALL. haha. whatever lahh, can't change the shape anyway. I want to learn how to french braid! Everlyn and Cheryl looked veryvery demure with the french braids (:
After the session, ever, pauline, cheryl and i trodded to bugis on a shopping trip! I bought this very pretty brown top i've been wanting for some time. And it's cheap! Cuz it's from this fashion. haha. Pauline also bought a pink-white top there. Hmmmm. All in all, it was a fruitful day (:
