we had class outing on monday!!!
which is why this RED lobbie is typing away in front of her computer now. it was the most extensive tan i've ever had! prob coz i was wearing tank and shorts.
me, jas, yokey and pheiphei wanted to reach harbourfront mrt earlier at 9 to GOSSIP. hurhur. unsuccessful attempt, though. yokey woke up at like 9.30??!! haha...it took her quite a while to reach palawan beach. hurhur. anyways.
reached palawan beach as a big bunch and played beach volley!!! i think that's when i got my tan coz the rest of the time was spent playing round vball in the shade and playing in the sea.
I TOTALLY LOVE VOLLEYBALL!!! we concluded that beach volley wasn't as engaging as round volley so we decided to switch and played round volley instead. the more regular players were me, pheiphei, sop, yokey, huiqing and xiaojun. that xiaojun ah, every few minutes you will hear her the beeping tone from her phone. so distracted. TSKTSK. hehs. i was standing at the most un-strategic place-backfacing the beach. which means i gotta run after every ball that goes into the beach!!! the flaming sun is enough to kill. not to mention the scorching sand under my thin-soled feet. ouchies. i can still feel the pain at the arch now. boo. haha. but nvm. it was quite fun chasing after the ball.
and then it was lunchtime! more like breaktime to me. we just gobbled down any food we saw to fill our stomaches. sop and i were happily taking pics with almost everyone we saw!!! lala. our new hobby!!! didn't know sop like to take pictures
so much too!!!
finally we headed towards the waters! yipee! i love to stay afloat near the shore, with the water reaching our waists and us kneeling down or squatting down or doing whatsoever in the waters! gosh i love it :)me, pheiphei, yokey, sop, marg, jas and jac formed a circle and started our ramblings. hehs. i truly enjoy times like this. gossips can really bring ppl closer. and i told them the understatement of the year. (mrs chew told my mama i NEVER sleep in class! she says i don't have the tired look like what others have)Like c'mon, everybody agrees that i sleep the most in chem lessons??? is she blind or is she trying to fool my mum? HAHA. means i can sleep somemore in class :)and we were all reminiscing about the times we had sitting at the back row!!! recalling all the laughter and joy we shared as a row. URGH. i want our row back :(
then we went back to our bench.i was craving for something savoury!!! but couldn't decide what i wanted to eat, so i just grabbed slurpee from 7-11 and went back.
crossed the suspension bridge with pheiphei! apparently the other end was the "southernmost point of the asia continent." but pheiphei pointed out that indonesia was south of singapore so how can it be the southernmost point?? haha. she made sense. on our way back pheiphei tried to count the number of planks on the suspension bridge! but she gave up coz there's something else which caught our attention. the FISHES! there's 3 groups of small, medium and large fishes!! they occupied diff territories and were quite close to the opposite shore. sho interesting!!! and then on the other side of the bridge we saw 2 crabs! they looked translucent to me. HMMMs.
we played volleyball yet again! oh man. it's becoming an addiction. i hope we can have another volleyball gathering in sentosa!! maybe in december...haha. left palawan beach at around 5 plus and subsequently reached singapore. i watched the sunset while i was on the bus!! it was a great pity not to be able to see it at sentosa...really hope i can see sunset/sunrise at the beach sometime!!! haha.
