napfa is okay lah...we had it at the basketball court after school on Monday...it's always the inclined PULL-UPS that pulls me DOWN. isn't this super ironic? grrr. nvm.

now my tummy is aching with every minute action i make that requires my abdominal muscles!
it hurts when i laugh.
it hurts when i stretch my lazy back.
it hurts when i try to sit up straight.
it hurts when i bend my back.

yesterday we had act after school...basically we(us and 38) had recre, changing parade and then npcc day parade rehearsal. I will try to rmbr every single commands and NOT screw up the parade for everyone =). i hope it will be a very very successful one!! afterall it's our last year in nanyang npcc and it's our only year organising it...it better runs smoothly. if not...

i hate it when i don't have the courage to LOOK. c'mon xinyi, just LOOK. one look and it doesn't kill you.

Went swimming with e WEIs (weili and weiwen)at OCC yesterday. Heehee. We sat the shuttle bus to the OCC. Not many souls were there though. maybe there was an exodus of people to e beaches in s'pore since it was such a nice, sunny day. HMMMM. anw, we headed towards the lockers in the changing room to load our stuff inside them. weili was teaching me how to open and close the locker with the combination code, and then she was off to somewhere else, then me and weiwen were left alone in the changing room. i wasn't paying close attention to what i did to the locker, and then POOF! the lcoker couldn't be open with my initial codE! i was like, i'm doomed. i must have been TOO excited about swimming.

weili came to my rescue. haha. she got the person to open the locker for me :) yay, thanks weili! just when we thought we could go head to the pool, weiwen's stuff got locked in too!!! the curse of itchy fingers fiddling with combination codes. haha. hai. poor weili. I think she was worried sick.

well, we hecked with it for the time being and went swimming in the olympic pool. actuallie we din swim much lah. we swam one/two laps, crapped a while, swam one/two laps, gossiped some more, went to the slide pool to play/suntan a while, and then back to olympic pool to swim a few more laps. Haha. meanwhile we racked our brains for rational and sane explanations to tell the person to help us unlock the lockers again. haha.

in the end, we wasted our brain juices coz e person wasn't even suspicious! like, what the. HAI. so we changed and went over to Northpoint to grab a bite.

I love swimming! swimming takes me away from those haunting thoughts and burdens. I feel carefree and worry-free in the waters.

I realised everytime after swimming i'll feel very very warm and start perspiring and perspiring, regardless of the weather. HMMMMMM. must be homeostasis.

URGH. I dunno what's wrong with me.
I can't seem to understand every single passage that Mrs Seah gives us. The words are there and I have the vague, subconscious kind of understanding, but I just cannot phrase it properly. PRECISION!!! I think I dun have the command of the language to express the ideas in a clearer way. Everything I say seems to be wrong, or offtrack, or totally offpoint. WHAT IS MY PROBLEM? I'm probably the worst student she've ever seen. And the passages are making me lose my confidence.

WHAT IS MY PROBLEM?

@ 5:44 PM

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self -- always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.
Idealists are sure that friendly cooperation is the best way for people to achieve their goals. Conflict and confrontation upset them because they seem to put up angry barriers between people. Idealists dream of creating harmonious, even caring personal relations, and they have a unique talent for helping people get along with each other and work together for the good of all. Such interpersonal harmony might be a romantic ideal, but then Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is. The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.
Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.
Idealists are rare, making up between 20 and 25 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.

HMMM. that's quite a mouthful.

HEAD OVER HEELS.
i'm so in love with pilots.

today's meng xiang qi fei is so sweeeeet!

Shinkai refused to hug fukagawa rei when she requested for one because he loves someone else!!! He was refusing her profusely and trying to get away from her when he hit the rooftop of his Jeep! He's like so nervous and shy =)

AND,i totally love the last part lah. They talking about being angry and blah and the juicier conversation goes somewhat like this:

Ogawa stood up and turned to leave the place.

Shinkai: Are you angry? I shall not hold my words anymore. I'm angry too. I'm angry that you were talking so happily with Mr Koda. (in a meekly jealous manner)

Ogawa: (after a considerable pause)I'm also angry. I'm angry that you went after her when she left the place.
(With a false front)I hate you so. Wo hen si ni le.

And Shinkai stared at her. I bet his heart melted! haha...what a way to declare love for someone.

AHHHH. I'm in love with pilots.

SULK. I've got act tmr so I won't be able to make it in time to catch Shinkai's reaction to her response. URGH. someone who will be watching please tell me okae?!

@ 6:25 PM

I'm typing without my specs.haha...i'm merely using my fingers to type CORRECTLY...hmmm.

Anywayz, today i finally got the trial contacts which i'm supposed to get on fri! Haha...i'm sho excited about putting two pieces of plastic into my eyes...let me begin my exhilarating experience!

As i was saying, i was supposed to get the contacts together with my new spec lenses on thurs. BUT, the optician who attended to me wasn't there on fri!!! So, i had to make another trip there today. Wasted my effort walking to the shop for 2 extra times. NVM.

Ya, so today i finally got it! I was just so amazed by it. And i managed to put them into my EYEBALLS within a few seconds for each eye! The person says I learn very fast.haha. He said there was this customer who spent his/her entire afternoon at the shop trying reallie hard to put in the contacts. Probably coz of phobia.

It feels great to be rid of my specs for a while. Coz my specs keep sliding down and i have to push it up every one minute or so.

Btw, it feels ticklish inside the eyes. Feel like scratching it. Hiakhiak.

I just took out the contact lenses and now they are swimming inside the case. HMM. the solution looks clean, but under close scrutiny, i can see specks of dirt floating on it. I shall stop grossing everyone out. Haha =D

@ 8:16 AM

Setting targets is easy. It is the reaching part that's difficult.
I want to win.
I love to complain that ***** sucks but hate it because we always complain when we can't win them.
I don't like empty talk and no action.
I know we are only human.
I know I commit mistakes which I claim to hate.
But I know, and I'll try.

LET'S GET OUR BUTTS UP AND START WORKING TOWARDS OUR GOLD/GOAL!

btw, thanks WEI LI, STEFF, XIAOJUN and SUWAN for helping me with my blog =)

Saturday, April 16, 2005 @ 7:59 PM

I managed to catch the part when Liang Yi got hit by the beer bottles till the end of the episode of Huo Xia Qu yesterday.

My eyes almost popped out. And my reaction was like,"huh, how come no blood yet?"

but i knew he was gonna die lah...coz cheryl and weili was yadaaing about it a few days ago...I almost cried when he couldn't shake hands properly with feifei! it's so saddening...and he was so sweet to even make an effort to fish out the will from his pockets!

and i realised something: everybody loves LIANG YI.
coz almost every other blog i went has something about elvin ng(his real name)and how sweet he is =). yeah! i agree that he's sweet too!!! but his teeth abit the...haha..shan't comment lest someone beats me up.

BUT, yifeng is still my dream guy.hiakhiak.

-added-

I SLACKED THE WHOLE OF MY SATURDAY. can u believe it? i can't recall any of the recent saturdays spent like today. haha.

You Are 35% Normal

(Occasionally Normal)

You sure do march to your own beat...

But you're so weird, people wonder if it's a beat at all

You think on a totally different wavelength

And it's often a chore to get people to understand you

How Normal Are You?

hmmm...u mean im abnormal?! how can be it?! i thought i'm the most normal person in the world...haha, but being special is good =)

Friday, April 15, 2005 @ 9:06 PM

I used to believe that winning is everything. I am someone who used to be really devastated when i met with failures...something made me woke up from that horrible illusion.
It is not easy for one who had went through emotion rollercoasters to say, that in the end, it is the process that really matters. Afterall, it is that desire to perform, desire to reach expectations that drives you. But ultimately, as you look back in a couple of months, or maybe a couples of years, you grow to understand the true spirit in it all.

Believe in your worth.

As for those who are in the midst of preparation for SYF, good luck and all the besT!
